I cleaned my gallery a bit here at DA. I threw away the photographs that no longer had meaning to me. Just a few for starters though, maybe some more later.
I just had a course at school which was about creative writing. It was so much fun and gave me inspiration to continue writing. And we also had philosophy (which almost makes my head ache because it's so difficult) and that was fun too, because the lecturer was such a good talker. My head is full of Platon and Nietzsche and Arendt...
Yesterday I visited Kiasma (modern art museum in Helsinki, Finland). The museum celebrates its 10th birthday and exhibited works from the collection. Some were good, some were bad (in my opinion) and some I didn't even understand.

I have a hard time understanding video art for example. Well not if I can see some idea behind the work, but more often than not it just seems like video is so pop that everyone has to use it, no matter what. Video art for the sake of video art, so to speak. But maybe I'm just so much of a painter that I can't understand...?
There were also Nan Golding's photographs in Kiasma. This was the first time I saw so many of her works and I was kind of blown away. What a life she has had, both in good and in bad.
